50ml ABSTINENCE Cape Citrus

200ml Premium Tonic
Grapefruit Slice
Fresh Rosemary


METHOD:


Pour ABSTINENCE Cape Citrus over ice in a Gin Goblet or Collins glass. Top with tonic and garnish with a slice of Grapefruit & Rosemary.

METHOD:

Epilogue X & Soda

INGREDIENTS:


50ml ABSTINENCE Epilogue X
200ml Soda
Lime Slice (Optional) 


METHOD:


50ml ABSTINENCE Epilogue X & soda. Pour Epilogue X over ice in a tall glass, top with soda and finish off with a slice of lime (optional). If you are looking for something slightly sweeter, use Ginger Ale or Coca Cola.

INGREDIENTS:


50ml ABSTINENCE Blood Orange Aperitif
200ml Soda Water (can be substituted with tonic water)
Orange Twist


METHOD:
Pour ABSTINENCE Blood Orange Aperitif over ice in a Gin Goblet or Wine Glass. Top with Soda and garnish with a fresh orange twist.

ABSTINENCE Lemon Spritz 

INGREDIENTS:


50ml ABSTINENCE Lemon Aperitif

200ml Soda Water (Can be substituted with Tonic)
Ice
Lemon Peel

Cherry Shrub Cooler

INGREDIENTS:


50ml ABSTINENCE Cape Fynbos
25ml Cherry Shrub
50ml Soda
Thyme 


METHOD:


Build drink in a Collins Glass and stir through. Garnish with a sprig of Thyme. 
HOW TO MAKE CHERRY SHRUB: 
(lasts up to 6 months if refrigerated):
2 cups sour cherries destemmed and pitted
1 cup sugar & 1 cup apple cider vinegar Muddle together the cherries and sugar. Let sit at room temperature for 2 hours. Add the apple cider vinegar. Muddle well. Transfer to a jar or container. Cover and refrigerate for 2 days. After the 2 days, open your jar and muddle again. Strain and discard the skins and store in a sealed container in the refrigerator

Nostalgia

INGREDIENTS:


50ml ABSTINENCE Cape Citrus
40ml Lemon Cream Syrup
30ml Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
Lemon Verbana garnish
Lemon cream soil (Lemon Cream Crumbs) 


METHOD:


Rim Martini Coup with the Lemon cream soil. Shake all the ingredients well and fine strain. Garnish with the Lemon Verbana Leaf. 
HOW TO MAKE LEMON CREAM SYRUP:
Crush half a pack of Lemon creams in the food processor. Add a cup of sugar syrup. Blend and squeeze through a cheesecloth

Raspberry Sherbet 

INGREDIENTS


50ml ABSTINENCE Cape Spice
25ml Raspberry Shrub
25ml Apple juice
10ml Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
10ml Simple Syrup. 
Raspberry garnish 


METHOD


Shake all the ingredients well and strain. Pour into a Collins glass filled with ice and garnish with raspberries.
HOW TO MAKE RASPBERRY SHRUB: 
(lasts up to 6 months if refrigerated):
2 cups raspberries 
1 cup sugar
1 cup apple cider vinegar

INGREDIENTS


50ml ABSTINENCE Epilogue X
4 drops Bitters 
½ teaspoon Sugar 
Orange Peel 


METHOD


Add the sugar and bitters to a whiskey glass and add a big block of ice. Stir gently until the sugar is dissolved. Add the ABSTINENCE Epilogue X, more ice and gently stir. Squeeze the orange peel over the glass, then drop in.

Cape Citrus Cosmo

INGREDIENTS:


50ml ABSTINENCE Cape Citrus
15ml Cointreau (Orange Liquor) 
30ml Cranberry Juice
15ml Lime Juice (freshly squeeze)
Orange Peel 


METHOD:


Add the ABSTINENCE  Cape Citrus, Cointreau, lime juice and cranberry juice to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and express the oil of an orange peel over the glass, then drop in.

Cape Spice Manhattan 

INGREDIENTS:


50ml ABSTINENCE Cape Spice
25ml ABSTINENCE Epilogue X
25ml Martini Rosso
2 dashes Angostura Bitters 
Orange Twist 


METHOD:


Add ABSTINENCE Cape Spice, ABSTINENCE Epilogue X, Sweet Vermouth, and bitters to a mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with an orange twist.

Coconut Cobbler

INGREDIENTS:


50ml ABSTINENCE Lemon Aperitif 
25ml Sherry
50ml Coconut water 
Fresh Basil


METHOD:


Bruise the basil leaves and add ABSTINENCE Lemon Aperitif and Sherry into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.  Shake well and strain into a highball glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with a Fresh basil sprig.

Blood Orange Negroni

INGREDIENTS:


30ml ABSTINENCE Cape Citrus 
30ml ABSTINENCE Blood Orange Aperitif

30ml Martini Rosso (Sweet Vermouth) 
Orange Peel 


METHOD:
Add the ABSTINENCE Cape Citrus, ABSTINENCE Blood Orange Aperitif and Sweet Vermouth to a mixing glass filled with ice. Stir until 
well-chilled. Strain into a glass filled with large ice cubes and garnish with an orange peel.
